The Lady Trojans kicked off their 2022-23 campaign by controlling the game all night against North Springs in a dominating 67-29 victory in Sandy Springs. Lassiter was able to launch threes at will, hitting many of them. Ryan Thames led the way with 26 points and 8 three-pointers, while Kenzie Wyman put up 15 points and had 4 threes go in for her as well.

Lassiter’s defense was also strong all night, paced by Kiara Evans’ 10 rebounds and 9 blocks. Evans also put in 5 points for the Lady Trojans. North Springs’ Tamariana Bivins dropped 16 points in the loss, leading the Spartans in scoring despite the tough result.

After this, Lassiter continues their road trip by taking on The Walker School, who is 0-1 following a tournament loss to Centennial. The Lady Trojans look to begin their season 2-0 for the first time since 2012, when they took down Fellowship Christian and Wheeler in their first two matchups.
